Synopsis:

Ana’s life is turned upside down with the sudden death of her husband. Without Jorge—and despite the company of their teenage son—the former pianist spends her days in solitude on her secluded estate in Alentejo. As she tries to navigate the winding path of grief and acceptance, she is surprised by a call from a cloning company informing her that Jorge had hired their services while he was still alive.

Consumed by doubt, Ana eventually gives in to the desire to reunite with her husband, even if it means trading reality for fiction. To make matters worse, Ana also discovers that Jorge may be hiding a macabre secret. The family reunion resurrects the demons of the past and makes it clear that it is impossible to grasp a future that belongs to no one.
